- iPad/iPhone/Android Device with Crescendo installed
Create a Crescendo Case
A Crescendo Case is a Salesforce Lighting Library that's been marked to be available in Crescendo – with all of its subfolders and content.
Of all your Libraries, you may only need a few to be available in Crescendo. Here are the steps to create a Crescendo case from a library.
- Step 1 – Navigate to Files section of Salesforce Lightning.
- Step 2 – Create or pick an existing library to mark for Crescendo .
- Step 3 – Enter [Crescendo] as the description of your selected library. Its subfolders and content do not need to be marked.
- Step 3 – Proceed to add files and folders as you see fit!
Share a Crescendo Case
All team members that have access to your Crescendo marked libraries in Salesforce will also have access to them in the Crescendo app. Use Salesforce groups to organize better for medium sized to large teams.

Your Salesforce Lightning Crescendo libraries are now set up!
When your users start Crescendo for the first time, the app will sync your Case(s) to the device. It may take up to several minutes to complete the data download, depending on your network performance. Once synced, Crescendo will thereafter only sync new and updated files.
When you log into Crescendo, Salesforce Discovery features are automatically turned on for you. Easily Add Contacts, Leads, or Opportunities directly from Crescendo. You also have the ability to send a file to any Contact or Lead in your Salesforce CRM.
Enforce immediate sync
Crescendo checks for content updates every 15 minutes. Use the pull to refresh gesture in the app to enforce an immediate sync. You can also enter the Command Center and tap the Update button.
