It may be required that some of the documents available in Crescendo should never be shared. Perhaps these are for internal use only or they are confidential.
Crescendo gives you two options for managing file sharing:
1. Disable sharing for all files
If you want to completely disable file sharing across your organization, please contact Crescendo Support. We will update your organization’s settings to block sharing entirely.
2. Disable sharing for specific files only
If you’d like to restrict sharing for certain files while allowing others, you can configure this directly by using tags or naming conventions in your cloud storage.
Follow the step-by-step instructions below to set this up.

How to disable sharing of a document:
1. Locate the file in your cloud storage.
2. Append [Crescendo-confidential] to the file name.

Open the file and notice that the Share button is no longer visible.

Pro tips:
Crescendo for Google and Box users can use Folder Description instead of the Folder name.
